THE MAIN PURPOSE OF THIS
LEAGUE IS TO KEEP QUAKE WORLD ACTIVE, SERVERS WITH PLAYERS ALL DAY LONG AND
HOPEFULLY BRING NEW MEMBERS TO THE COMMUNITY.
It is an online Quake World 2on2 death match competition that uses a Round Robin System groups with similar skills.
The duration must be maximum 6 weeks to the end of this league.
The objective is confrontation, points and ACTIVITY.
Admins, Players and Guests are set together on #rules , #main , #schedules and #results text channels.
Each team has his own GROUP and is properly placed on their private group channel

HT-QWL is open for all European Quake World players, however, non-European players are free to sign up as long as they play their matches in Europe.
Signing ups must be made by filling the form located on LEAGUE SIGN-UP section.
Teams will be selected one by one and we give preference to European players, known nicks on Quake World servers on a daily basis and players that didn't give Walk Over's and / or dropped from HT last season and Thunderdome tournament.
Also we give much preference to players that signed up on the HAMMER TIME SEASON 1.
Due to conflicts on the last season, Deekay, RuSs and x1bot are not allowed to participate on this HT season.
Be aware, that by signing up does not mean your are accepted.
Players with multiple registration entries will be disqualified.
It's NOT possible to play in several divisions in parallel.
After sign ups, teams are NOT allowed to add / replace players without a very solid and extreme reason presented to our admin crew.
In that extreme case, if admins agree, a player can be replaced by another IF those players are within the same skills.
Sign-ups open on the 6th of September 2019.
Sign-ups close on the 29th of September 2019 @ 23:59 CEST , NO EXCEPTIONS.

The allowed proxies are Qizmo 2.91 and the latest QWfwd.

If a team do not make this check BEFORE the game starts, we then assume that both agreed to play as it was.

No berzerk, midair, instagib or other unusual modes
Spectators are allowed by default but if one team doesn't agree then MUST BE changed to NO SPECTATORS.
QTV is available for who wants to spectate.
Note 1: On DM6 the powerup Eyes/Ring should be turned ON after typing 2on2 T2H on the console.
(most servers don't have it ON by default on 2on2 settings)
Note 2: Whatever settings are used, we assume that both teams agreed to before the game.
This league's map pool is 8 MAPS
DM2 , DM4 , DM6 , AEROWALK , ZTNDM3 , BRAVADO , SHIFTER and CATALYST
EACH TEAM PICKS 2 MAPS AND ALL 4 MUST BE PLAYED !!
(All 4 maps must be different but if both teams agree then a map can be played a maximum of 2 times).
(If both teams agree, any of these maps can be replaced by another map)
MATCH TAG should be inserted by typing 2on2 T2H on console, before match starts.
THE FIRST PERSON
TO PICK MUST BE DONE BY THE FOLLOWING EXAMPLE:

During a game, if a team doesn't want to play that map any more, that team can type "/break".
His opponents can choose to type break or keep playing.
IF /BREAK HAPPENS then the map will be loss by the team that decided to break first, counting as a WO on that map.
The frag difference to the winner of that map will be the average of all played games through the league.
Screenshots or any kind of prove of that map’s “break” decision must be sent on discord to an admin.
Disconnecting voluntarily during a match means a straight walkover on
current map or game (unless "timed out" - decision by admins).
Unnecessary whining is not necessary.
Any kind of lameness will not be tolerated and can lead to WO in the current game or to a ban for the current and next season.
Scripts are not allowed. Make sure to check that your opponent has them turned off before starting to play.
If your opponent was using scripts during the match because YOU didn't check before it started, then WILL BE ALLOWED!
If you do not want to get banned from the this league, here are some simple rules to follow: 1) No spamming on discord server. 2) Please respect each other. (i.e. no racism, personal insults to others, text in caps, etc.) 3) Don’t post NSFW pictures, videos or any porn related on discord server.
SCHEDULING your schedules MUST be done on discord, in your private division channel always identifying with @ your opponent.
After the game is properly scheduled with your opponent, the team that DIDN'T took the initiative to contact their opponent, must place the game's
TIME AND DATE on the SCHEDULE section on this website (if players don't agree who should report the game's schedule). Your division admin must also be identified of the game's schedule. Private chats between teams / players and / or admins will NOT be accepted. Each team plays ONCE EVERY WEEK with a different team on their group. Games played in advance are allowed (please notify an admin) The WEEK STARTS every Sunday and END'S every Saturday. ALL WEEKLY GAMES MUST BE PLAYED WITHIN THESE DAYS. Every Sunday morning WO’s will be assigned! ALL schedules must be done in CEST time. In case of disagreement or issues we assume that whatever time scheduled was in CEST.
REPORTING your matches report MUST be done on REPORTS by the winner.
In case of draw the report must be accomplished by the team that picked first map.
Teams have until the game’s deadline to report the played match.
1 point will be removed to the team that didn’t report in time.
All map .MVD DEMOS must be compressed into a rar , 7z , gz , tar.gz or zip file and uploaded to our servers with your name and your opponents name.
We decided that for FAIRNESS and EVEN GAMES, all EUROPEAN PLAYERS MUST PLAY WITH SAME PING!
We are aiming for players to play with a maximum of 51ms due to players participating from Spain, Portugal and Russia.
NON-EUROPEAN PLAYERS HAVE TO PLAY ON A SERVER WHERE IS EUROPEAN OPPONENT PINGS 38ms as MINIMUM and 51ms AS MAXIMUM.
/CL_DELAY_PACKET MUST BE USED ON ALL EUROPEAN GAMES by the player with lower ping, in case all players ping are not the same.
/CL_DELAY PACKET MUST BE USED ON NON-EUROPEAN GAMES IF EUROPEAN PLAYER DON'T FIND A SERVER WHERE HE PINGS MINIMUM OF 38ms.
In general the game can be played on any server where both teams agree to
The League Admins insist that the team's server-choice is done with common sense and that pings are kept as low as possible.
However, if the teams don't agree, the server is determined by the following procedure:
1. All players have to show their lowest possible ping
2. A server has to be found where all players get a ping, which is about the same amount, higher than their lowest possible ping.
Should be easy to find a server when CL_DELAY_PACKET must
If teams still can't agree on a server, please contact admins about it.
Admin decision is final.
If CL_DELAY_PACKET was not used we assume that both teams agreed not to.
Each team plays ONCE EVERY WEEK
with a different team on their division only.
(More games can be played within a week if both teams agree. Please notify an admin)
A calendar with the NEXT GAME and the NEXT OPPONENT will be presented at the CALENDAR/RESULTS section on this website.
The WEEK STARTS every Sunday and END'S every Saturday. ALL WEEKLY GAMES MUST BE PLAYED WITHIN THESE DAYS.

FRAGS FOR WO VICTORY: THE NUMBER OF ALL THE TEAMS FRAGS "FOR" DIVIDED BY THE NUMBER OF MAPS PLAYED* = FRAG "FOR" AVERAGE NUMBER.
* (ALL GAMES, ONLY AFTER TOURNAMENT IS OVER)
IN THE END OF THE LEAGUE, IF 2 OR MORE TEAMS HAVE
THE SAME EXACT NUMBER OF POINTS THEN:
1. THE MATCHES SCORE POINTS BETWEEN THOSE TEAMS WILL DETERMINE WHICH TEAM STAYS ON TOP.
2. IN CASE OF THOSE SAME MATCHES (referred in point 1) WAS A DRAW THEN THE FRAG DIFFERENCE WILL DETERMINE WHO STAYS ON TOP.
(IN THE EXTREME CASE OF FRAG DIFFERENCE IS EQUAL BETWEEN THOSE TEAMS, THEN ANOTHER GAME IN THE END OF THE LEAGUE WILL HAPPEN)
WO will be given to the team that during the week tried to schedule the
game without success.
If none of the teams tried to schedule then WO will be assigned to both.
IMPORTANT NOTE: ON THE 2nd WO, THAT TEAM WILL BE DISQUALIFIED.
Disqualification: When a team is disqualified ALL his games (played and remaining) as well as his results will be erased. ALL his opponents will receive WO.
